Candle Altar Services

Setting lights, also referred to as candle altar service, is a lovely, simple, yet powerful service that many magical practitioners offer. It is very traditional and commonplace in the hoodoo and rootwork community, and indeed is a service that is expected to be provided by professional practitioners. It is one of my favorite kinds of magic and a joy for me offer this service to others!
Generally speaking, a client will tell a practitioner about their current situation, and the practitioner will decide what color candle and what herbs and oils would be best used to dress that candle in order to have the desired effect on the client's situation. What the client is getting is a very basic magical consultation, spiritual prescription for a candle magic remedy, and a candle prepared and dressed especially for their case by that experienced rootworker, which is then set working and observed for signs until it finishes.
Upon completion the practitioner will deliver a candle burn report to the client, detailing how the burn went, and interpreting any signs that could be present about how the work is likely to do, if there are any obstacles, or if more work might be needed to ensure a positive result. This information is extremely useful to have during ongoing work.
Setting Lights is a very basic, but full-serve spell casting done by the practitioner on behalf of the client.
Some people may employ a practitioner to back-up the work they are performing at home with the energy of a candle altar service performed for their intents. They might request a tandem burn, where identically fixed candles will be set working simultaneously - one by the client at their home, and one by the worker. These both help increase the power and prayer going towards their goals. They may also hire a worker to set several candles in back-to-back runs in order to keep energy flowing to their petition over an extended period of time.

with their name and request on a paper underneath. No report will be sent back for this service.

You will be asked to provide a picture of the person for whom the light is being set, along with their full name. Also a bit of context as to why you are requesting this light be set will also be of use.

I am happy to make up personalized fixed candles (including fancy refillable glass jars for use with pull-out 7day candles) and ship them directly to you.
** Please be aware that the candles are heavy and shipping charges are higher when ordering multiple candles. **When ordering more than one fixed candle, you will be invoiced first for the cost of the candles + the standard shipping fee, and then sent a second invoice for the balance on the actual cost of shipping.
